Just after the iOS 12 was announced for iPhone and iPad users last month, Apple has been releasing a bunch of subsequent updates to it, for minor bug fixes and improvements. Since its launch, users and iOS app developers are very much influenced with the amazing features introduced in the version. In fact, the users love it. But, what if I say that iOS 12.0.1 or older versions not available for iPhone users anymore! It may sound weird but that is true. After releasing iOS 12.1 in the month of September, Apple has closed signing iOS 12.0.1. Apple iPhone users will now find it difficult to move back from iOS 12.1 to an older version using iTunes.
Recently, Cupertino-based tech firm has announced that they have stopped signing iOS 12.0.1. It has been also noted that if you are already on iOS 12.1 version then it will not be possible to downgrade. Earlier, the firm has also stopped signing iOS 11.4.1, which has prevented iOS 12 users to downgrade to any version of iOS 11. If you are aware of jailbreaking, then this is something, which can’t be ignored. From now onwards, people who are looking out for a jailbreak are recommended to fuse to older versions for a potential jailbreak release. If a jailbreak is available and you are resting on the latest firmware, then you can no longer downgrade to the previous build if Apple stops signing it. As of now, Apple stopped signing copies of iOS 12.0.1, which is big news for iOS users.
